Five-day training programme on in-situ crop residue management under the project “Promotion of Agricultural Technologies for In-Situ Crop Residue Management”, from September 16 to 20, 2024 concluded at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Mansa. 25 farmers of adopted village participated in this training.
Er. Alok Gupta, Assistant Professor (SWE), provided in-depth knowledge about operating machinery such as the Smart Seeder, Surface Seeder, Happy Seeder, and zero-till drill for efficient wheat sowing.
Dr. Ranvir Singh, Assistant Professor (Entomology), discussed insect pest management in Rabi crops. Dr. Ajay Kumar, Assistant Professor (Animal Science), discussed the use of paddy straw as animal feed.
