Directorate of Agriculture, Uttar Pradesh organized one day (May 26, 2023) State Level Kharif Productivity Goshthi and Exhibition at Krishi Bhawan Lucknow. Scientist and Technical Officer of ICAR- CISH participated and showcased institute technologies. The show was inaugurated by Honorable Minister of Agriculture, Agricultural Education & Research Uttar Pradesh Shri Surya Pratap Shahi on May 26, 2023. Bael varieties CISH B1 and CISH B2, grafted plants of mango and guava, mango harvester, fruit fly trap,bio products and value added processed products of mango, guava, bael and aonla were made big attraction for visitors at the institute stall. After inauguration of Goshthi and exhibition, Honorable Minister of Agriculture along-with senior officials of state department visited the stall. More than 2000 visitors including officials from various departments, farmers, women, students, youths visited the stall and benefited from the information on advance technologies developed by the institute. Dr. Naresh Babu, Principal Scientist and Shri. Arvind Kumar, ACTO recorded feedback from the visitors including farmers and students and solved their queries regarding plant propagation, cultivation and harvesting method and plant protection of mango, guava, bael and jamun.
