- The weather forecast received from IMD indicates that in coming week will remain normal for wheat and barley crop. The maximum temperature will be expected to range from 22.4 to 37.6°C and minimum temperature from 12.6 to 20.5°C at most of the location in north India. Light to heavy rains, high velocity wind and thunderstorm at some places are expected in the upcoming week (29.03.23 to 04.04.23) over northwest plains including Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Rajasthan.
- Farmers have to take view of IMD weather forecast, as light to heavy rains are expected. Wherever water stagnation due to rains in the fields, farmers are advised to drain out the water from the field to avoid lodging.
- Due to the possibility of rains, the farmer’s are advised not to spray any chemical at this stage of crop.
