FAO counselor, Mrs. Bayer from embassy of Federal Republic of Germany, Visited ICAR, CISH Lucknow on 10th and 11th July 2023. The Counselor was welcomed by Dr. T. damodaran, Director ICAR-CISH, Lucknow. later Mrs. Bayer visited farmers field and mango orchard of Malihabad and interacted with local farmers along with Dr. Maneesh mishra Principal Scientist and team, After that the guest planted a colored Dashehari scalping at- Technology Park, ICAR, CISH R.B Road campus in the presence of Director and Institute scientists (Dr. P. L. Saroj, Dr. H. S. Singh, Dr. Manish Mishra, Dr. Anju Bajpai, Dr. S. K. Shukla, Dr. A. K. Trivedi, Mr. A.K yadav, Dr. Abha Singh, Dr. Ashish Yadav )
Next day Mrs. Bayer visited the ICAR museum and interacted with scientists of the Institute visited experimental farm, exotic mango germplasm, block mango hybrids, GAP in mango experiment and CISH nursery located at rahmankhera campus Mrs. Bayer highly appreciated the research efforts and progress of ICAR-CISH and Indian farming system.
