• NABARD sanctioned a unique project to BIRD Charitable Trust which helped farmers choose high-yielding varieties of pulses and adopt superior agronomic practices
• Collaboration with the Indian Institute of Pulse Research, Kanpur and the Department of Agriculture, Government of Uttar Pradesh

THE IMPACT

• Formation of Uldan Agricultural Produce Company Limited, a Farmers Producers’ Organisation
• Tangible impact in income through better price discovery
