ICAR Research Complex for Eastern Region, Farming Systems Research Centre for Hill and Plateau Region, Ranchi conducted a Ten days Student Training Program on “Improved Cultivation Practices in Horticultural Crops” from 8 th to 19thJuly 2024.Dr P. Bhavana, Senior Scientist was the Course Director of the training programme and Dr Mahesh Kumar Dhakar, Scientist was the Course Coordinator. The training program was conducted for B.Sc. & M.Sc. Agriculture students of YBN University Ranchi and was attended by 14 Graduation and Master’s students. The training program provided the students to get actual hands-on learning opportunity on different techniques related to horticultural crops. Dr A. K. Singh, Head, ICAR RCER FSRCHPR, Ranchi participated in the Valedictory function and wished the students for a bright career and service to the farming community of the nation.
