Swachh Bharat Mission

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (SBA) or Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) or Clean India Mission is a campaign in India that aims to clean up the streets, roads and infrastructure of India’s cities, smaller towns, and rural areas. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi launched on 2nd October 2014 with slogan “One step towards cleanliness” to fullfill Mahatma Gandhi’s vision of Clean India. A clean India is the best tribute we can pay to Bapu. ICAR-CRIJAF, along with its four research stations and two KVK’s under it actively taken part in various activities of National Sanitation Campaign to promote the Cleanliness Drive on regular basis within the office campus and outside the campus during the sanitation campaign from 15th September to 2nd October 2017 as “Swachhta Hi Seva”.
