Objective: To encourage and aware faculty members and students towards commercialization of innovations and inventions.
On the occasion of WORLD INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY DAY, National Agricultural Innovation Fund (NAIF) – Institute Technology Management Unit (ITMU) and Agri Business Incubation (ABI) Centre, organized an Intellectual Property awareness program for students and faculty members on 27 th April 2023, from 3.00 – 5.00 pm. A total of 90 faculty members and students participated in the program. Dr. A.K. Balange (Officerin-charge, ITMU & PI – ABI) & Pr. Scientist, FRHPHM welcomed all the guests and briefed about the program. The program was preceded by Dr. N.P. Sahu (Joint Director, ICAR – CIFE), where he urged students to study well and think innovatively and creatively for better future. This was followed by a guest lecturer of Prof. (Dr.) Amit Tiwari, Senior Patent Associate, Patent Department, R.K. Dewan & Co. patent attorney, Pune. He delivered a lecture on “COMMERCIALIZATION OF INVENTION” where he motivated students and faculty members for filling patents and promoted entrepreneurship development.
“NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY 2023” competition Certificates and prize money were distributed to the students.
A vote of thanks was given by Dr. Neha Qureshi, Member – ITMU & Scientist, FEES Division, where she thanked Dr. N.P. Sahu (Joint Director, ICAR-CIFE), Prof. (Dr.) Amit Tiwari (Guest lecturer), ITMU & ABI members, all the faculty members and students.
