Four startups, trained by the Punjab Agri Business Incubator (PABI) of the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), participated and exhibited their products at the World Food India 2023, New Delhi, organized by the Government of India. The University trained startups including Repeat Gud Pvt Ltd, Promeat, Ruhvinile Biomedical OPC Pvt Ltd and Mapik Foods Pvt Ltd, seized the opportunity to expand their agriculture related businesses.
Dr Satbir Singh Gosal, Vice-Chancellor, PAU, while hailing the achievements of the agripreneurs, divulged that the University has been ranked number one across India for producing maximum number of startups, who are relishing economic rewards after being trained by a premier agricultural institute – PAU.
Dr TS Riar, Additional Director Communication and Principal Investigator (PI) of PABI; and Dr Poonam A Sachdev, Co-PI, PABI, congratulated the startups for putting up a good show and wished them all success in their future endeavor’s.
Mr Karanveer Gill, Business Manager and Mr Rahul Gupta, Assistant Manager, PABI, PAU, while visiting the event in New Delhi, appreciated the initiatives taken by the startups and encouraged other startups as well to apply at incubator for next Cohort.
