While distributing participation certificates to 23 practicing veterinarians from all over the country, Chief Guest Dr D.K.Vatsa, Vice Chancellor said that it is important for practitioners of different professions to upgrade their scientific skills and knowledge. It is far more important and useful to veterinarians as they treat the ones-animals- who cannot communicate their ailments. He said that animals provide much to us including milk, meat, wool, support in agriculture, transportation, company and security, etc. It is our duty to keep animals healthy and disease free. He appreciated the Department of Surgery and Radiology for meticulously organizing the training. He underlined the importance of agriculture and allied sciences for humanity.
Dr.Ravindra Kumar, Dean, Dr GC Negi College of veterinary and animal sciences and Dr Adarsh Kumar, Course Director also spoke on the importance of small animal abdominal sonography in diagnosing and treating the animals.
Dr S.P.Tyagi, Course Chairman told that training was part of contributing education to upgrade the knowledge and skills of veterinarians. Dr Amit Kumar and Dr Rohit Kumar Sharma also expressed their views. Some trainees gave feedback about the training and thanked the University for useful training.
