National Goat Fair and Agricultural Technology Exhibition (National Goat Maha Kumbh) was organized at Central Goat Research Institute, Makhdoom. This event was organized in collaboration with Animal Husbandry and Dairying Department, Government of India, New Delhi.

Chief Guest Union Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, Prof. S. P. Singh Baghel and Special Guest Arunachal Pradesh Agriculture, Veterinary, Horticulture and Fisheries Minister Gabriel D. Wangsu were present.

This event was organized in collaboration with Animal Husbandry and Dairying Department, Government of India, New Delhi.

Special Guests Indian Council of Agricultural Research Animal Science, New Delhi Deputy Director General Dr. Raghavendra Bhatta, Commissioner of Animal Husbandry and Dairying Department, Government of India, New Delhi Dr. Abhijit Mitra, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi ADG Dr. A. K Gaur also participated in the program. District Magistrate Shailendra Singh ji and Senior Superintendent of Police Shailesh Kumar Pandey also arrived. Directors, former directors, former officers and employees of various ICAR institutes were also present. Agricultural scientists, researchers, students, entrepreneurs associated with the agricultural industry and more than 3000 progressive farmers and goat rearers of the country participated in this Maha Kumbh.

Institute Director Dr. Manish Kumar Chetli welcomed the guests. In the program, the winning farmers in four competitions including progressive goat rearers were awarded first, second and third prizes. 17 ICAR institutes have set up stalls in the program, which has enlightened more than 3000 progressive farmers from different states.
