What a KVK does
Krishi Vigyan Kendras are district-level ICAR extension centres, coordinated zone-wise by the ATARIs. They assess and demonstrate agricultural technologies on farmers' fields, train farmers, farm women, rural youth and extension workers, give diagnostic and farm advisories, and produce quality seed and planting material. Contact your KVK for advice on local crops and farming problems.
