A group of students has been enrolled under RAWE (Rural Agricultural Work Experience) programme through which they are attached to Kanech Ghumnewal villages for performing various activities. About 40 farmers attended the camp, held at Kanech Multipurpose Cooperative Society which is also a dedicated centre for farmer information. The farmers of Ghumnewal too were involved for this activity in the village-based community hall.
