Agricultural Polytechnic, Polasa, Jagtial has organized College Day on 19-04-2023 in a great manner at Jubilee Hall of RARS, Jagtial. Dean of student affairs, Dr. J. Satyanarayana as chief guest, Director of Polytechnics, Dr. G. Padmaja as guest of honour, Principal and Associate Director of Research, Dr. G. Sreenivas, Associate Dean of College of Agriculture, Jagtial, Dr. Bharathi Narayan Bhat chaired the occasion. The programme has started by lighting of the lamp followed by release of college magazine “Makarandaalu” on this occasion and a brief report on Agricultural Polytechnic has presented by Vice Principal Mrs. Y. Swathi. Director of Polytechnics emphasized role of agriculture in everyone’s life, career opportunities for diploma holders. Associate Director of Research & Principal Dr. G. Sreenivas motivated the young minds to improve in all aspects of academics, physical health, sports & games, higher education and to develop as entrepreneurs. For achievement of greater heights in academics and personnel development of students has briefed by Associate dean with her inspirational words. Finally the chief guest of this proramme, Dr. J. Satyanarayana in his words inspired the students to achieve their goals by implication of hard work, skills and highlighted the importance of discipline in student’s life to become successful achievers. Prizes were distributed to students for games and sports conducted on this occasion and the programme continued by cultural programmes. All the staff of APT and RARS participated in this occasion and the programme was ended with a formal vote of thanks by Dr. K.Swathi, Assistant Prof. (Hort.)
