The Department of Ilmul Amraz, Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), observed National Anaemia Day with a “Medical Quiz” competition for postgraduate scholars of the Faculty of Unani Medicine. The event was organized to raise awareness about iron deficiency anaemia, emphasizing the importance of early detection, proper treatment, and preventive measures.
Held under the guidance of Prof. Ubaidullah Khan, Chairman of the Department of Ilmul Amraz, the quiz saw the participation of 16 students from various departments and the competition provided an interactive platform for students to enhance their knowledge on anaemia and related health challenges.
Prof. Khan, who is also the Dean of the Faculty of Unani Medicine, distributed prizes to the winners and commended all participants for their enthusiasm and academic dedication. He highlighted the significance of such events in fostering awareness and addressing critical health concerns.
