At Agricultural Polytechnic, Tornala administration of precautionary dose of Filaria tablets programme was organized on 28-08-2023. About 77 students of first and second year diploma, who are in the age group 15-18 years and the staff of APT, Tornala were administrated with Filaria tablets. On this event Dr. S. Sridevi, Principal, APT, Tornala has given a brief note on causes and effects of filariasis. Medical officer from Primary Health Centre, Narayanraopet, Siddipet highlighted importance to take precautionary dose of Filaria tablets to prevent filariasis. All the teaching and non-teaching staff of APT, Tornala and Asha workers participated in the programme. The programme was coordinated and organized by Sri L. Raja, Assistant Professor and OIAM.
