A one-week vocational training program on “Goat Husbandry” was organized by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Fatehgarh Sahib from 06.12.2023 to 12.12.2023 under the guidance of Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. This training program Dr. Conducted under the guidance of Vipan Kumar Rampal, Associate Director (Training), Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Fatehgarh Sahib, 25 farmers and youth from across the district participated. Dr. G. P. S. Sethi, Assistant Professor, Animal Science, and Course Coordinator, imparted awareness about goat breeds, reproductive management and various diseases of goats and their possible treatments. He also gave practical information about the importance of vaccination in goats, identification of improved breed, estimation of age from teeth, vaccination etc. In this S. B. I. On behalf of the bank, Varinder Naquib gave detailed information to the trainees about the schemes of the bank to start the profession of goat rearing. To add a summary of the above training course, Dr. Vipan Kumar Rampal congratulated all the trainees for the successful completion of the course and thanked all the trainees for spending their valuable time to make this training a great success.
