PAU-Krishi Vigyan Kendra Ropar conducted a five day vocational training course on domestic sweet making from 24.9.24 to 30.9.24 under the guidance of Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana and ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute, Zone-1. Under this course, Mrs. Manpreet Kaur, Demonstrator and Course Co-ordinator (Plant Science) trained the students to make sweets, during which 21 students from different villages made Wesan Barfi, Kaju Barfi, Rasmalai, Rasgulle, Dhoda, Prepared dishes such as Balushahi, Bundi de laddus. Dr. Satbir Singh Deputy Director K.V.K. Motivated the students to make pure sweets at home and increase the household income by adopting this profession.
