He told that we can start mushroom cultivation from one room. Due to which its cultivation can become a means of employment for rural and urban people. If we talk about its production, 10 kg of compost or 1-1.5 kg of mushroom can be produced from one square meter. This means that one envelope worth Rs 100-150 worth of mushrooms can be produced. Dr. Jaswinder Kaur Brar explained the method of making pickled mushrooms. Dr. Vinay Singh Pathania shared information about mushroom pest management. Dr. Reena Garg (Horticultural Development Officer) informed about the various schemes of the department. Dr. Gurmeet Singh Dhillon ji promoted canning and marketing.
