ICAR-Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute organised a workshop on the use of drones for nutrient management in paddy in coastal regions at the paddy research field today.

Dr Raghavendra Bhatta, Deputy Director General (Animal Science) ICAR, Dr V. K. Gupta, Director, National Research Centre on Pig, Guwahati, Dr N. H. Mohan, Scientist I/c AICRP Pig, with other delegates graced the occasion.

Dr Parveen Kumar, Director of ICAR CCARI, informed the delegates and participants about the dedicated efforts of the Institute and ICAR-KVKs to promote the use of drones in coastal farming. The initiative is part of the ‘Viksit Bharat’ programme, a vision by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

All scientists, technical, project, and field staff attended this workshop on the use of drones for nutrient management.
