ICAR-Indian Institute of Spices Research hosted a Workshop cum Training Program on “Technology Advances in Ginger and Turmeric for sustainable yield and income” during 25-27 June. The training conducted as part of the ‘Pan India Action research Project on Improvement of Spice Value Chains’ was attended by 20 professionals from various NGO alliances of Tata Trusts across India. The training was inaugurated by Dr. P Rajeev. Various sessions on disease management, sustainable yield production and value addition methods were introduced to the trainees. Director Dr. R Dinesh presented the certificates to the participants in the valedictory function. The workshop was coordinated by Dr. Lijo Thomas, Dr. Sajesh V K and Dr. Vinu V.
