Awareness-cum-Demonstration Programme on “Application of agro-chemical in rabi crops through drone technology” was organised at Dasturpar and Dayamchak village of Nalanda district and Babhanbigha village of Sheikhpura district of Bihar during 24-25 th February, 2024. Live demonstrations of spraying of agro-chemical through drone were conducted on rabicrop such as wheat, mustard, lentil, pigeon pea and gram. Dr. Pawan Jeet aware farmers about operating procedures of drone and conducted live demonstration of drone in farmer’s field. Under this programme, spraying of nano urea and Hexaconazole was demonstrated at Dasturpar village of Nalanda district (wheat: 4.5 acres, gram: 0.5 acres, lentil: 0.5 acres and mustard: 0.5 acres);Dayamchak village of Nalanda district(wheat: 5.5 acres and mustard: 0.5 acres); and Babhanbigha village of Sheikhpura district(wheat: 5.5 acres and pigeon pea: 0.5 acres) with drone technology. More than 50 farmers were present at the demonstration site during the programme. Shri Manoj Kumar Sinha was also present and assists in various activities during the programme.
