A training programme was organized on value addition in oilseeds under the ABI incubation UNIT ON 28.02.2023 and 03.03.2023 to around 110 participants comprising of District Project Managers and Assistants. Project managers of Society for Eradication of Rural Poverty, Telangana of NRCM, RC, NIRDPR. Hands on experience training towards crushing of edible oils was imparted to the participants.
The purpose of the programme was to foster cluster based enterprises in the rural sector with the objective of improving the sustenance and livelihood of the self help groups/ commodity interest groups. The participants mostly women expressed interest to take up cluster level value addition in oilseeds including the processing of edible oils.
