KVK, Malyal arranged for webcasting of “Hon’ble PM’s live programme on 13 th installment release of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi” and conducted Farmers Scientist interaction meeting at Rythuvedika, Mahabubabad on 27-02-2023. The programme started with webcasting of speech of Sri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minister on PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. Dr. S. Malathi Programme Coordinator, KVK, Malyal addressed the gathering and explained the importance of millers, concept on need of judicious pesticide usage in different crops. Dr. N. Kishore Kumar, SMS (Extension) KVK, Malyal explained the objectives of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme and other central government schemes. Sri. B. Kranthi Kumar, SMS (Crop Production), KVK, Malyal spoke about best practices in Yasangi crops and direct seeding in paddy, , importance of HDPS Cotton and integrated nutrient management. Sri V.Thirupathi Reddy, MAO, Mahabubabad district suggested the farmers to update eKYC as early as possible for getting benefits under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. Later, the experts answered the queries raised by the farmers. The farmers raised queries on stem borer incidence in yasangi paddy, black thrips in chilli,etc. 114 number of participants attended the programme
