Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal organized training programme on “Integrated Pest and Disease Management in Paddy” at Rythu vedika of Nanchari Madhur Village of Thorrur Mandal on 04-10-2023. Dr. N. Kishore Kumar, SMS (Extension) explained about, Project objectives & different ICT tools in agriculture, Dr.S. Malathi, Programme coordinator, KVK Malyal, explained about importance of seed treatment, nursery management, recommended dose of fertilizer and time of application, release of tricho cards, use of pheromone traps, need based spray of chemicals and different IPDM practices in paddy cultivation and appealed to farmers to cultivate direct seeded paddy in ensuing Yasangi season explained about DSR methods and its importance to reduce the labour cost. In this programme Smt. S. Amani, AEO, Nanchari Madhur cluster and 55 farmers & farm women participated.
