One day training program on “ICAR-IIHR technologies” for Heads from KVK zone 11 and for the farmers from 8 different districts of Tamil Nadu, one district each from Karnataka and Kerala under SCSP was organised on 21st June 2023, to create awareness among the Heads of KVK and farmers about ICAR-IIHR technologies suitable for their region. Dr. R. Senthil Kumar, Nodal Officer (SCSP) and the members Dr.Sumangala HP , Dr. V Shankar, Dr Jayantimala B.R., Dr. B.Mahesh Dr. N.Ramachandra and Dr G.Chetan Kumar explained about various ICAR-IIHR technologies suitable for these regions and ICAR-IIHR developed Arka Microbial Consortium, Mango Special and Tuberose bulbs were distributed to the identified beneficiaries. This programme was attended by 59 KVK Heads and 290 farmers and coordinated by Dr. Sumangala H.P. and Dr. R. Senthil Kumar, ICAR-IIHR, Bangalore.
