A joint stall has been set up by 9 Krishi Vigyan Kendras of the university. This stall presents a glimpse of the story of sustainable and all-round development of agriculture in the state by the centers. Shrianna (coarse grains) has become the center of attraction for farmers in the stall where the main coarse grains Jowar, Bajra, Ragi and minor coarse grains Sanwa, Kakun, Cheena, Kutki, Kodo have been displayed. The stall shows the dimensions of highly protected agricultural products through beekeeping unit, Ganoderma mushroom production. Along with fruits and vegetables produced from organic farming, jam, pickle, processed food products and handloom and candles made through food processing methods have been kept to show nutrition security and family income. Various types of products made from Mandua by women of self-help groups of Uttarakhand state are also being displayed in the stall. At the stall of the Agricultural College, students are making models on the theme of food security and possibilities of sustainable farming in mountainous areas and making farmers aware about it. Apart from this, special discounts and subsidies are being provided on agricultural equipment by various firms in the Kisan Mela.
