Establishment of Krishi Vigyan Kendra:
Being a new University, there is an urgent need to develop 5 to 6 numbers of Krishi Vigyan Kendra through Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi under administrative control of CGKV in 3 different agro-climatic zones of Chhattisgarh state
Communication centre:
- To disseminate scientific information to farmers, communication centre will work on following aspects
- Bring out package of practices in agriculture, livestock, poultry, fishery and allied science.
- Publication of magazine, booklets, extension bulletins and printing of folders for the benefit of farmers
- Electronic media and private media coverage through T.V. talks, Radio talks and regular publication in local newspapers.
Training unit:
Training unit of the Directorate of Extension will organize monthly training workshop / special training programme both for extension officers and farmers. This will include both on-campus and off-campus training programme.
