National Campaign on Kisan Bhagidari Prathmikta Hamari for the promotion of Millets

A function for the national campaign for the promotion of millets were organized in the Government Girls High School, Village Chuli Bagariyan, Hisar on April 28, 2022 where 70 school students and 20 farmers participated in the event. A lecture on the advantages and nutritive value of the millets on the health of the individuals by Dr. ML Sharma from CIRB was given. Dr. TK Datta was the chief guest of the function which was presided over by the principal of the school Sh. SS Bana. The function was graced by the farmers representatives, Sarpanch of the village and teachers of the school. On this occasion Dr. TK Datta interacted with the students and informed the activities being undertaken by the institute. School students were quizzed on the knowledge about the importance of millet. The function was ended with a vote of thanks to the Chief guest.
