KVK, Palem conducted a Training Programme on Need and Importance of Maternal Nutrition to the Extension Functionaries at Bijinepally (V&M), Nagarkurnool dist on 30.08.2023. A training Programme on need and importance of Maternal Nutrition in order to achieve healthy pregnancy and lactation among the rural expectant mothers. Mrs.E.Jyoshna, SMS(HSc), KVK, Palem Explained about the recommended dietary allowances to pregnant and lactating mothers. Emphasized on how to identify the gap between recommended nutrients and daily nutrient intake. Suggested to take Balanced diet with available seasonal foods. In this Training Mrs.E.Jyoshna, SMS(HSc), KVK, Palem, Mrs T. Padma, ICDS- Bijinepally Sector Supervisor and 46 Anganwadi Teachers were participated.
