Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal conducted Training Programme on “Natural Farming” under DAPSC (Schedule Caste Sub Plan), 2023-24 at KVK, Malyal on 04-01-2023. Sri. S.Venkat Rami Reddy Natural Farming, practicing farmer from Khammam District participated as resource person and explained in detail about concept of Natural farming and seed treatment using cowdung and urine, preparation of Agniastram, Neemastram, Beejamrutam, Panchagavya, Dasagavya, etc, how to utilize Jeevamrutam to increase soil fertility status and also he explained preparation and spraying of different usage of biopesticides and biofungicides how to prevent pest and disease in Natural Farming.Dr. S. Malathi, Programme Coordinator, explained about importance of Natural Farming and stressed on use of biopesticides and biofungicides and advised the participants to inculcate the habit of this farming at least in small area to meet their home needs which helps in betterment of their health. Dr. N. Kishore Kumar, SMS (Extension), and 38 SC farmers farm women of Kantayapalem village; Thorrur Mandal participated in the programme.
