Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem conducted Rythu Sadassu under the project “Outscaling of Natural Farming through KVKs” on 23-11-2024. Dr. Shaik. N. Meera, Director, ATARI, Zone – X has attended as chief guest of the function. Dr. B. Jamunarani, Director of Extension, PJTAU, Dr. R. Uma Reddy, ADR, CTZ, Warangal has attended as guest of Honor. Director ATARI, stated that Natural Farming is evolved from the farmers of their own land and should be made more profitable to the farmers with sustainability, value addition as secondary agriculture and certification of natural farming products play key role in success of natural farming. Improving soil and environment health could be redefined through natural farming practices as quoted by the DE, PJTAU. Dr. R. Uma Reddy, stressed upon own seed production and selection of suitable varieties according to the season paves way for better yields along with better management practices. Few farmers namely; Gottipati Venkateshwar Rao, Naresh & Naveen (Kavalala Sedyam), Uma Maheshwar Rao, Parvathi and Papa Rao shared their successful experiences of Natural Farming following in various crops. Programme was concluded with the felicitation of Best Progressive Natural Farming practicing farmers and delegates.
