Activity : KVK Mamnoor organised Kisan Mela in collaboration with ICAR-NMRI Hyderabad under DAPSC (SCSP) Dr. N. Rajanna welcomed all dignitaries and briefed about mandated activities and different demonstrations conducted by KVK Mamnoor to farming community. Sri Y.V. Ganesh garu honourable Additional collector, mulugu attended as chief guest along with other guests Dr. Shiek N Meera, ICAR ATRAI ZONE -X, Director. Dr.M.Mahendar Director of Extension, Dr. Barbudhe, Director of ICAR-NMRI and Dr Baswareddy, Principal scientist, NMRI, Dr Vijay Bahaskar, DVAHO, mulugu district and animal husbandry department doctors attended this program. Firstly chief guests visited the Livestock stalls consisting of Gir cow, Jersey, Nellore ram, backyard poultry, fodder grasses, honey bee rearing equipment s and different agriculture organic preparations, Stalls of Fishery department and other private pharmacy companies. All the guests along with Dr N. Rajanna Pc & head, kvk mamnoor inagurated the program by lightening the lamp. Pamphlets on Care and Mangement of Pregnant animals and clean milk production were released by ATARI Director.Then dignitaries spoken about the work done by KVK Mamnoor and appreciated KVK, Mamnoor for their efforts and carrying out the different activities which are helpful to farming communities and urged farmers to utilize the services of KVK. Dr Shaik N Meera Director, ATARI- X appreciated the diversified activities being carried out by KVk and informed gathering that there is possibility of getting 120 new KVK in near future and urged the farmers to take up integrated farming, branding of the products produced to get the opportunity to sale products in international markets Animal Health camp was conducted in Jakaram village in the morning and treated 51 animals.
