On the occasion of celebration of 154th Years of Mahatama Gandhi ji. And 119th Years of Lal Bhadur Sastri Birth anniversary on 2nd October, 2023 at ICAR-IISWC, Dehradun celebrated the occasion with full zeal and enthusiasm. Before starting the program, a tribute was given to Gandhi ji and Lal Bhadur Sastri ji. The celebration started with briefing the activities carried out at the Headquarter by sh. A.K.Chauhan, Nodal Officer of swachh Bharat Mission. Prize Distribution to the winners participates of different swachhata activities conducted in swachhta Pakhwara 2023. The Director of the Institute Dr M. Madhu, graced the occasion and he gave insight into the life journey of the Mahatama Gandhi and Lal Bhadur sastri along with the lessons he insisted to follow. The occasion celebrated with felicitate sanitation workers by given “SafaiMitra” award to all the workers, best School award of sanitation and best three prizes to staff of sanitation Room at Headquarter and Research Farm, Selakui.
