Directorate of Horticulture and Food Processing, Lucknow organized four days (February 17-20, 2023) Fruit, Vegetable and Flower Show at Raj Bhawan, Lucknow. Scientists and Technical Officer of ICAR-CISH participated and showcased institute technologies. Show was inaugurated by Honourable Governor of Uttar Pradesh Smt. Anandi Ben Patel and Honourable Chief Minister Shri Aditya Nath Yogi Oon February 17, 2023. Hydroponic system for growing vegetables of tomato, lettuce and salad, guava varieties lalit, lalima and shweta, bael varieties CISH B1 and CISH B2, processed fruit products, mango harvester, fruit fly trap, exotic vegetables and cherry tomato made big attraction for visitors at the | institute stall. More than 7000 visitors including officials from various departments, farmers, women, students, youth visited the stall and benefited from the information on advance technologies developed by the institute. Scientists Dr. Naresh Babu and Dr. S.R. Singh and Shri. Arvind Kumar, ACTO took feedback from the visitors and solved their queries regarding cultivation, plant protection and processed products of fruit crops. The show was concluded by Honourable Governor of Uttar Pradesh Smt. Anandi Ben Patel as Chief Guest on February 20, 2023.
