Objectives
To impart knowledge on sustainable NRM technologies
To familiarize the participants on various community-based extension approaches
To sensitize the participants about innovative extension strategies in rainfed agriculture
Training Methodology
The trainees will be selected based on the interest for participation and selected participants will be notified in advance. Training will be covering sustainable NRM practices for rainfed areas and suitable extension strategies. Certificates will be provided based on active participation and evaluation scores.
Training Participants
Senior and middle level extension functionaries from the department of agriculture and other line departments, scientists from ICAR and KVKS and other research organizations, faculty of Agricultural universities, SAMETIS and NGOs and research scholars. The selection of participants and detailed guidelines of training program will be intimated through e-mail. Upon selection, the candidates should immediately confirm their participation.
