Pantnagar. May 5, 2024. ‘Vet Night’ program was organized by the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences at Gandhi Hall. The program was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by Vice Chancellor Dr. Manmohan Singh Chauhan. Thereafter, the university song awakened the feeling of unity and harmony in everyone’s hearts. Staff Counselor Dr. Meena Mrigesh presented the annual report of various events organized by the Society.
The cultural program started with Saraswati Vandana, which instilled a sense of reverence and devotion towards the goddess of learning. After this, Himachali and Pahari dance made everyone experience the beauty of nature. Gujarati dance and Lavani dance enthralled everyone with their stunning and lively performances. South Indian dance won everyone’s heart with its grandeur and grace. Mime presentation expressed deep feelings even without words. Bollywood dance, band show, Rajasthani dance and Punjabi dance added to the program with their variety and enthusiasm.
The Veterinary Society expressed its heartfelt gratitude to its sponsors, Ranvet, Thind Vet, GeneABS, Ojas, Intas and Indian Immunologic Limited, whose invaluable support has made the Society’s programs possible. On the said occasion, Thind Vet and Rainvet sponsors were honored by the Dean, Registrar and Staff Counselor.
Dean Student Welfare, in his address, congratulated the students for successfully organizing various programs of the Society. At the conclusion of the program, Executive Dean, College of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Sciences, Dr. A.H. Ahmed heartily congratulated the society members and staff counselor Dr. Meena Mrigesh for the successful conduct and organization of various competitions. Registrar Dr. K.P. In his address, Raverkar appreciated the talent and dedication of the students and inspired them to move forward.
Managing Council member Dr. Vishal Rana had an emotional presence among the dignitaries in the program. Also Dr. J.P. Jaiswal Director Communications, Dr. Shiva Prasad Director International Affairs, Dr. S.C. Tripathi, Shiv Prasad Maurya, Ajay Upadhyay, J.L. Singh, Rajeev Ranjan Kumar, Sudhir Kumar, D. Kumar, Shweta Rai, Nidhi Arora, Jyoti Pallod, Disha Pant, Anshu Rahal had a dignified presence.
At the end of the program, Veterinary Society President Apoorva Rawat gave a vote of thanks. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the guests, participants, organizing team and attendees.
