Event Organized AAU
The expert talk and discussion is organized by the National Innovation Foundation (NIF), India, and the Indian National Science Academy (INSA), in collaboration with the Science 20 (S20) engagement group on theme of “Disruptive Science for Innovative and Sustainable Development” with the sub theme Science for Society, Culture & Heritage on the 26th of June 2023 at the Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA) in Ahmedabad, India as part of G20 Summit 2023, Faculty from CAET, AAU, Godhra, have been invited to participate the event. Therefore, Er. Chirag Jadav, Chairman of the Industry Institute Interaction Cell and Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering in the Basic Engineering & Applied Sciences Department, a visit has been organized for the faculty, staff, and students on the 26th of June 2023.

Er. Chirag Jadav, Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Mukesh Tiwari, Head of SWCE Department, and Er. Suryaprakash Suryavanshi from the CAET, AAU, Godhra, participated in an expert talk and roundtable discussion. The event focused on the theme of “Disruptive Science for Innovative and Sustainable Development,” with a sub-theme of Science for Society, Culture & Heritage. The program began with a series of expert lectures, followed by a panel discussion led by the distinguished experts and organizers. Faculty members from various universities attended the event and actively participated in the discussions. Several experts were present, including Prof. Ashutosh Sharma, President of the Indian National Science Academy (INSA); Dr. Subeer S. Majumdar, Director General of Gujarat Biotechnology University; Dr. Dinesh Awasthi, Vice-Chancellor of L J K U; Mr. Chirayu Pandya, Category Head – India at Logitech; Prof. Shailendra Saraf, Director of NIPER; Mr. Surendra Patel, Founder of Vishalla; Dr. Anil Bhardwaj, Director of PRL; Dr. Arvind C Ranade, Director of NIF; and Dr. Vipin Kumar, Chief Scientist at NIF. During the discussion, experts and faculty members from various institutes engaged in a thorough discussion on promoting the positive application and use of science for the benefit of humanity. Additionally, the disadvantages and potential misuse of science and technology were also addressed and discussed among the participants.
