A one-day ex-trainee Sammellan cum Entrepreneurs Interaction was held at 23.07.2024 PAU-Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Patiala. Dr. Gurupdesh Kaur, Professor cum Incharge, introduced the concept of re-engaging trainees with KVK to share their experiences, provide feedback to scientists, and address the challenges faced in their entrepreneurial journeys.
Dr Rachna Singla, Professor of Horticulture, offered insights on tree plantation and nutrition gardening, while Dr Hardeep Singh Sabhikhi, Assistant Professor of Plant Protection, guided beekeeping as a viable enterprise.
Entrepreneurs Mrs Harpreet Kaur (Alhoran Khurd), Mrs. Sunita Rani (Kalyan), Mrs. Jasbir Kaur Sohi (Nabha), Mrs. Sheron Rani (Masingan), Mrs. Aarti (Nabha), and Mrs. Sangeeta (Nabha) shared their inspiring entrepreneurial journeys and encouraged participants to stay connected with KVK, Patiala, for continuous support and motivation. The KVK team honoured these successful entrepreneurs for their achievements.
Dr. Gurpreet Singh, Assistant Professor of Agronomy, extended a vote of thanks and discussed internal air pollution in homes and strategies to mitigate it. The event concluded with a visit to various demonstration units at the KVK, where participants also purchased PAU literature.
