The Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-Kisan) is an initiative launched by the Government of India in 2019 with the aim of providing financial assistance to small and marginal farmers across the country. For this purpose, the government has introduced the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana for Women Farmers, which provides additional financial assistance to women farmers.
