PAU under the successful campaign of cultivation of soft rice run by Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. Farmer awareness camp was conducted by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bathinda today at village Chak Ram Singh Wala with the support of Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Bathinda in which 80 farmers participated. The main purpose of this training camp was to make farmers aware of preventive measures against insects and diseases. During this camp Dr. while sharing detailed information regarding the proper use of fertilizers in soft crops. Pritpal Singh District Pasar Expert shared his views regarding irrigation and proper use of fertilizers in soft crops at the right time. He said that farmers should use only fertilizers recommended by Punjab Agricultural University because the use of more fertilizers increases the attack of insects. happens Dr. District Pasar Navneet Kaur shared detailed information regarding proper irrigation management in kharif crops to the farmers.
