CitriHub’s, the Agri-Business Incubation Centre of ICAR-Central Citrus Research Institute, Nagpur, organised an incubation programme for Smt Nilam Sinha from Jharkhand and Shri Navin Kumar from Rajasthan, focusing on citrus nursery management and nurserypreneurship. During the incubation, the participants received in-depth training in crucial aspects of citrus nursery management, including the establishment and maintenance of mother blocks, traditional budding methods, micro-budding, containerized nursery techniques, nursery accreditation, marketing strategy and business plan development.
Dr Dilip Ghosh, Director, ICAR-CCRI, urged the incubates to evaluate the current status, future opportunities, and challenges facing the citrus nursery business in their regions.
This successful programme underscores CCRI-CitriHub’s commitment to promoting Agripreneurship and empowering citripreneurs across the country through robust incubation support and innovation in the citrus sector.
