IQAC, Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour is organizing a one day online workshop on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) on 7th September, 2024 aiming to educate the participants on the importance of protecting intellectual property in academia. The workshop will feature sessions on patents, trademarks, copyrights and the legal framework surrounding IPR. The experts from AnovIP India will provide valuable insights on navigating the complexities of IPR and discuss the importance of patent portfolio for the university and researcher.
The basic objectives of organizing this workshop are:
1. Basic concepts of IPR and their role in growth, procedure of filing and foreign protection.
2. Basic concepts of creation, protection, enforcement, and monetization, technology transfer, etc.
3. Extensive prior art search
4. Quality patent drafting
