About the EDP Training
Soybean, the “Golden bean” is a great source of high-quality protein, fat and carbohydrates and is instrumental in combating protein malnutrition. This training aims to develop thriving enterprises in soybean processing, driven by the objectives of creating livelihood opportunities, generating employment, and producing high-quality protein products. Distinguished as the exclusive institute in India offering such an EDP on Soybean Processing, ICAR-CIAE has assumed a central role in empowering aspiring entrepreneurs with the necessary technical expertise and support. The training focuses on different aspects of entrepreneurship including processing and production techniques; machinery use; maintenance of processing units, food safety and hygiene aspects, packaging, shelf-life, project profile reports, techno economic feasibility and hands on training for different soy products. Participants receive invaluable guidance throughout the establishment of their enterprises, which will equip them with the skills to prepare processed soybean products.
