Ninth (9th) Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) foundation day was celebrated on 03-09-2023 at Agricultural College, Warangal. The Teaching, non teaching, out sourcing staff and students of the college have participated in this programme. The programme was started by inviting the dignitaries onto the dais followed by University song. The In-charge Associate Dean, Dr. A.Venkat Reddy has garlanded the portrait of Prof. Jayashankar and all the staff and students offered floral tributes to Sri Kothapalli Jayashankar sir. The programme was started with the brief introduction and welcome address by Dr. G. Santosh Kumar, OISA and Dr.J. Kamalarakar, HOD briefed the significance of the occasion.The in-charge Associate Dean Dr. A.Venkat Reddy, Professor (Entomology) enlightened the students about the importance of the University foundation day and achievements and milestones of the university in the last 8 years. Then the in-charge Associate Dean, distributed certificates to the student winners of Essay, elocution and poster making competitions conducted on the eve of foundation day. The programme was ended with vote of thanks proposed by Smt. L.Suhasini, Assistant Professor. Further around 100 students have attended the foundation day programme through Youtube live.
