Krishi Vigyan Kendra Bathinda organized a block level camp on 27.10.2023 for comprehensive prevention of stubble as per the instructions of Punjab Agricultural University and ICAR New Delhi. More than 80 farmer heroes participated during this camp. On this occasion Dr. Gurmeet Singh Dhillon, Associate Professor, Extension Education appealed to the farmers to harvest paddy in their field only under S. M. S. It should be done with combine harvester so that farmers can easily sow wheat by using machinery like Happy Seeder, Super Seeder, Smart Seeder, Surface Seeder etc. He asked the farmer heroes to adopt the technologies developed by the Punjab Agricultural University to preserve the stubble of their fields in the field and maintain the fertility of their land.
