A two-day capacity building programme kicked off at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) under the aegis of Directorate of Extension Education. As many as 70 scientists from Krishi Vigyan Kendras and Farm Advisory Service Centres are participating in the training programme, in which experts of soil, fruit and vegetable sciences; entomology and plant pathology will share the technical know-how of latest agricultural technologies. The course aims to equip the scientists with problem-solving techniques for the rabi season, said Dr MS Bhullar, Director of Extension Education. Later, Dr TS Dhillon, Additional Director of Extension Education, proposed a vote of thanks. An interactive session was also held to address the queries of the participants.
