A poultry training and poultry distribution program was organized in village Bara today under the All India Coordinated Livestock Research Project – Fridgewal funded by Central Cattle Research Institute (CBIRI), Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi), Meerut. This program was inaugurated by Dr. C.V. Singh, Professor, Animal Breeding Department and subject expert. The subject expert encouraged all the farmers and project team members and also highlighted the importance of poultry farming and housing arrangements.

During the program, Dr. C.B. Singh, Project Officer highlighted the objectives of the project as well as the important points of successful backyard poultry farming. In the program, Dr. Brijesh Singh, Dr. A.K. Ghosh and Dr. Ripusudan Kumar highlighted various technical aspects of poultry farming, different species of poultry, brooding poultry nutrition and vaccination etc. During the training, 25 chicks and other materials (feed, medicine, grains and water pots) were distributed to each farmer. 20 farmers participated in the program. Registration of poultry farmers was done by Miss Aradhana Phular and distribution of material was done by Mr. Shivanshu Tiwari. The program was conducted by Project Officer Dr. Chandra Bhan Singh and vote of thanks was given by Dr. Ripusudan Kumar.
