The 12th Foundation Course for the Faculty of Agriculture Universities (FOCFAU) training programme organised from 3rd–23rd September 2024 with 45 participants from ten different State Agriculture Universities (SAUs) across the country concluded at ICAR- National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, today.
Dr Ch. Srinivasa Rao, Director, ICAR-NAARM, in his presidential remark, urged the participants to apply the knowledge and skills gained during the training to teach students effectively, develop robust scientific projects, and communicate agricultural information efficiently to all stakeholders.
The Chief Guest for the valedictory session, Dr V.K. Singh, Director, ICAR-Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture, Hyderabad, highlighted that the training can change the professional orientation and thinking process of young faculty to become successful in their profession as teachers and researchers.
The trainees shared their rich experiences in learning various new project formulation tools, micro-teaching, statistical analysis, human resource management aspects, etc. during the training programme.
