On 2nd July,2024, ICAR-Indian Institute of Horticultural Research, Hesaraghatta, Bengaluru signed a Memorandum of Agreement with National Seeds Corporation. IIHR Director Dr Tusar Kanti Behera exchanged the MOA with Mr M Ahamed Raza, Regional Manager, National Seeds Corporation. This MoA allows NSC for large scale multiplication of quality and disease resistant varieties and hybrids of Horticultural crops developed by ICAR-IIHR scientists, and enable supply of quality seeds to the farmers field throughout the country. Initially the agreement is valid for one year and further extendable with mutual consent. The Scientists of IIHR and Officials of NSC were present during the occasion.
